What is MOT?
MOT stands for Ministry of Transport. Basically MOT test is a yearly vehicle safety
and on road performance test which makes sure on the following numbers of
parameters even if or not they are securely to be used on the roads.
How can I know my mot is due?
Your car required the first MOT test three years after the initial registration for
example: any vehicle that registered in 2015 its first required MOT in 2018.
After this process, the vehicle must go through an MOT Test every year, with the
required date determined by its previous test. For example: any car or vehicle that
passed the MOT test in December 2018 is due for another MOT in October 2019.
MOT Categories

How to properly prepare for your MOT
➔ Make sure your vehicle all functions are working properly on not Such as: indicators,
windscreen wipers and lights.
➔ Make sure your vehicle fuel, brake fluid, oil and windscreen is accurately working.
➔ Make sure seat belts and doors are working properly or not.
➔ Check some major things which include seats, steering and registration plates are
fastened securely.
➔ Make sure your vehicle tyres tread is at least 1.6 mm in terms of size.
➔ Make sure no sharp edges damage of your vehicle because they damage the
exterior.
➔ Check each corner of the car bounce it means check miss-placement issue.
