Had been having issues with our Discovery Sport until one day it just gave up on us. Our local garage who does our servicing recommended Global engines for an engine replacement. Quite pleased with their handling of our engine replacement from the get go and five months on, the car drives as good as it did when it was brand new.

So, my engine in my Range Rover 3.6TDV8 decided to stop playing the game….found these guys on line and who were relatively local and decided to give them a call. 9/4/24 called at 3.15pm and spoke to Tony….arranged to collect car for very next day….superb answer, even better when told could be turned round in a week. Sure enough,Friday following had call to say it was done. Collected Saturday morning and was pleased to meet the guys there….Tony and all the others went above and beyond keeping me informed on progress. To say I had a smile back on my face was right, all running sweet. My engine in my Range Rover sport went and was quoted over £10,000 by different garages. After my car being off the road for 6 month me and my partner done some research and found global engines and gearboxes. We decided to go ahead with them and we are so glad we did! I just want to say a massive thank you to Toney, Jodey, Steve and the rest of the team, i must say i was very aprehensive at first with the fact that I was sending my Range Rover Sport all the way down to the big smoke to have the engine replaced after it seized but from initial contact the amazing customer services support from the team was out of this world, she threw a couple of challenges at them but they knocked it out the park and I had a really nice 5 hour journey back home in her. if you are unfortunate to find your self in a place where you need some help with your car I would highly recommend these guys. there like Ronseal do what it says on the tin plus some. I am very pleased to get a recon engine for my BMW 520d from Global Engines. I would say it a brand new engine because its performance is amazing.

Dear Tony and his team, I wish I had brought to you from the start and not having wasted time at others garages that could not handle the repair. My car broke down with a blown Turbo and a compression issues. Tony and his team are very helpful and did an amazing job on the engine. Range Rover Sport 2009 3.6 Turbo V8. Reconditioned engine was fitted and two new turbos and the car drives better then before is broke down. Also very competitive rates for a service on the car. Please make sure to listen and his tram regarding the service interval and replace the engine oil every 5000 miles and injector cleaner every 2000 miles. Excellent service. My Range Rover Sport was sat at a Land Rover dealership for a few weeks. I asked Tony at Global to arrange collection and 48 hours later a new -refurb - engine was being fitted. Just collected from Global today. Efficient - I week all done - , costs effective and they even valeted it for me! Many thanks guys .

Well my VOLVO XC60 has had a rebuild about 1 week ago and so far all seems good I am in still running in for about 8oo miles before an oil change ,the service from Tony and Jodey was fantastic and im sure if I should have any issues during the warranty period they will sort them out ,so I am holding off putting a five star rating until car has been fully run in with no issues ,4 star for now but will gladly change to 5 when oil change is completed and no issues are found , thanks

Great service and friendly staff, Global Engines & Gearboxes kept me informed the whole way through my Bmw engine rebuild and was a very quick turn around, car sounds better now than when I bought it.

As a result of my timing chain going on my BMW I had to have a new engine fitted after contacting other garages I spoke to Global engines and got a quote from them to supply and fit a reconditioned engine. There quote was very fair they were able to collect my car and had the new engine fitted in a couple of days, very quick service from picking the car up and getting the job done. very pleased I would recommend them.

We contacted Global Engines and Gearboxes and received a very fair quote to rebuild the engine on our Ford Transit. They arranged collection of our vehicle and kept us informed of progress throughout the whole rebuild process. We have had no further problems with the Ford and would certainly highly recommend Global Engines and Gearboxes for their professionalism and overall customer service.

Excellent service!!! If you have any issues with your BMW contact these guys first, they know their stuff. My BMW had suffered a timing chain failure resulting in a lot of damage to the engine. Global Engines and Gearboxes managed to repair my car and get it back on the road within 2 weeks and at a lower cost than quoted by BMW. Tony kept me informed throughout the process and was always willing to answer any questions I had which was really reassuring. When I collected my vehicle there was a minor issue with the aircon, but Tony and his team rectified this instantly with a solution worked really well for me. Overall a great service provided by Tony and his team at Global Engines and Gearboxes.

Global Engines rebuilt the engine on my Range Rover 3.0 after the timing belt snapped. The whole experience was excellent as they also kept me up to date on the progress of my car daily. The customer service in general was fantastic and very friendly, providing helpful advice after the repair was done. I have had the car back for a couple weeks now and so far it is running perfect. They even cleaned the car inside and out when I picked it up which was a very nice gesture. I fully recommend these guys to anyone and will be using them more in the future. Top lads.

Global Engines is the best place to fix your vehicle up. I have been there last month for an engine reconditioning. Initially I was quoted something around 1.8k which sounded quite reasonable but they further dropped it down by adjusting my engine into the price which was quite pleasing. Same way they did everything well into my budget and before the time. I would like to rate them high and recommend their services.

At last I got a perfect place to deal with the reconditioned engine work. These guys are very sound in their techniques to supply and fit reconditioned, rebuilt or repaired engines. I got served my BMW 320 through them and liked them because they stood by their words and did exactly what they promised.
